Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med-Surg unit in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers night shifts, weekly pay, and opportunities with award-winning hospital partners.

LPN/LVN license and 1 year of Med-Surg experience are required, with IV and BW certifications and BLS on hire. The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with the care team, and efficient care documentation in EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN or LVN license required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year of LPN Med Surg experience required.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.

Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00–$50.00 per hour.
