Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital-Albuquerque is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shifts to deliver direct and indirect patient care and support the care team under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes accurate assessment, clear communication with physicians and colleagues, adherence to policies, and compassionate patient interactions in our long-term acute care setting in Albuquerque. Shift differential paid for weekend shifts and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Current NM LPN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care to meet psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
