JOB SUMMARY

This position assesses patient and family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans with the nursing team. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations, serving all age groups from neonate to geriatric, with understanding of their developmental needs.

Employees must actively participate in fulfilling the Missions of Blessing Health Systems, demonstrate ICARE standards, and adhere to the Code of Conduct and policies.

Under supervision of an RN, this role provides direct care to a specific group of patients, supporting the hospital's Mission and demonstrating core values aligned with the strategic goals and Performance Improvement Process (PIP).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

• Graduate of an LPN School of Nursing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: Completion of Blessing Hospital LPN IV course, previous clinic experience, IV Certification

License/Certifications:

• Current state LPN license

Pay Status:

• NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
