Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living in Powell, TN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 1st or 2nd shift to support Assisted Living residents. You will provide daily care, implement care plans, and collaborate with the care team to maintain a compassionate, safe environment.

The typical LPN duties include medication assistance, health monitoring, and resident engagement, with a focus on dignity and independence. A professional attitude and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• LPN license in applicable state and CPR certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Build close relationships with residents and provide care per individual care plan.
• Take initiative and guide RA and CNA staff when needed.

We are looking for:

LPNs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, LPNs participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a LPN can include:

1. Build and maintain close relationships with residents
2. Take initiative and give guidance to RA and CNA staff
3. Provide stellar resident care as directed by each resident’s specific care plan
4. Make resident safety needs a daily priority
5. Continually assess, record, and document resident health and monitor for concerns
6. Assist with and monitor resident medication needs

Requirements:
