Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support an adult correctional facility in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves night shifts (7 pm–7:30 am) on a 3x12 schedule, with contract employment and competitive benefits.

The ideal candidate holds an active AZ RN license in good standing and Myers certification, plus 6 months RN experience, BLS, and a recent TB test. You must pass a background check and fingerprint clearance to join the team.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license in good standing.
• At least 6 months RN experience.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid TB Test within the last year.
• N95 fit test with specified mask numbers.
• Able to pass strict background check and fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments with appropriate dosages for adolescents.
• Monitor vitals and document any distress or illness.
• Provide wound care and first aid for correctional facility injuries.
• Assist with chronic condition management (asthma, diabetes, mental health).
• Respond to emergencies and provide interim care until higher-level support arrives.
• Coordinate with behavioral health teams to address emotional needs.
• Maintain infection control and hygiene in a communal setting.
• Document health updates with RNs, facility staff, and guardians as needed.

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at an adult correctional facility in Phoenix, Arizona! This position plays a vital role in providing essential care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Schedule: 7 pm - 7:30 AM, 3x12's
• Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing)
• At least 6 months of RN experience
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid TB Test for the last year
• N95 Fit test using one of the following masks: #46867 (small) and #46767 (regular)
• Ability to pass a strict background check and fingerprint clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages for adolescent patients
• Monitor and document vital signs while assessing patients for any signs of distress or illness
• Provide wound care and first aid for injuries common in a correctional facility
• Assist with chronic condition management, such as asthma, diabetes, and mental health concerns
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care until higher-level support arrives
• Collaborate with behavioral health teams to address emotional and psychological needs
• Ensure infection control and hygiene standards in a communal living environment
• Maintain documentation and communicate health updates with RNs, facility staff, and guardians as needed
