Job summary

Courtyards-of-Orlando-Care-Cente is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 7A-3P shifts. The role involves direct nursing care to residents and supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs in accordance with state and federal standards.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing resident care, observing orders with physicians, and monitoring vitals. CPR certification and Florida LPN license are required; prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.

• Implement resident care based on physician orders.
• Evaluate care and communicate with doctors for updates of orders.
• Perform basic diagnostics and resident procedures as needed.
• Receive and transcribe orders from attending physicians.
• Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure when necessary.
• Respond to emergencies promptly.
• Supervise CNAs as Charge Nurse.
• Provide care according to physician orders and defined care plans.
