Job summary

Heritage Villa is seeking a compassionate LPN to join our senior care team on a full-time basis. You will participate in providing high-quality nursing care, assess residents, document needs, and administer medications according to physician orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license in Oklahoma.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Maintain a working email and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services that meet regulatory and company standards.
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess residents and document conditions and needs.

• 6:30 am - 6:30 pm Rotating 3 on 3 off
• 6:30 pm - 6:30 am Rotating 3 on 3 off

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
