Job summary

Forest Hills Care & Rehab in Oklahoma seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing services, administering medications, and coordinating individualized care plans for residents in a senior living setting.

We offer competitive hourly pay ($26–$30) with shift differential and opportunities to earn more through take-home pay and monthly appreciation events.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN or RN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Valid RN or LPN license for the state of Oklahoma is required.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing.
• Provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards.
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign nursing care to team members per resident needs and capabilities.
• Administer medications.
• Start IVs and perform treatments for assigned residents.
• Document treatment as required.
• Ensure supplies are used economically and that equipment is clean and maintained safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functionsof Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
