Walnut Grove Care and Rehab in McAlester, OK seeks compassionate LPN or RN to provide nursing care on day shift, implementing care plans and documenting needs. You will administer medications, assess residents and collaborate with a caring team to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN or RN license.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care under plan and physician orders.
• Initiate and lead individualized care plans; assess residents.
• Administer medications and start IVs as needed.

Currently hiring for day shift

6:30am to 3pm: Sunday through Thursday

6:30am to 3pm: Tuesday through Saturday

Essential Functions:

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited LPN or RN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN or RN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
