Walnut Grove Care and Rehab in McAlester, OK is hiring for day shift nurses (RN/LPN). Shifts include 6:30am–3:00pm, Sunday–Thursday and 6:30am–3:00pm, Tuesday–Saturday. Join a caring team focused on exceptional senior care with strong benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents' conditions and needs.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign care tasks to team members based on resident needs.
• Administer medications and start IVs as needed.

Currently hiring for day shift-

6:30am to 3pm: Sunday through Thursday

6:30am to 3pm: Tuesday through Saturday

Pay, Benefits and Perks:

  • $10,00 for Night Shift

Essential Functions:

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner

• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited LPN or RN School of Nursing

• One year of nursing experience is preferred

• Valid LPN or RN license

• Valid CPR certification

• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
