Job summary
The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing and long term care units in New York. The role includes medication administration, vital signs, resident care, and supervising CNAs, with a focus on quality outcomes.
We offer daily pay, competitive wages, and benefits through the 1199 union. LPN license is required and interviews are encouraged with our Administrator and DON.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for residents in Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
- Administer medications, including IVs.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Provide resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcomes.
- Educate residents and families.
- Communicate with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
