Job summary

The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Montrose, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled unit and long-term care teams. The role includes medication administration, vital signs, and delivering resident care with outcome monitoring.

You will supervise CNAs, educate residents and families, and coordinate with physicians and other health professionals. All shifts available; daily pay and interview with Administrator and DON.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NY LPN license.
• Strong ability to take and record vital signs.
• Experience in skilled nursing settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, including IVs.
• Take and record vital signs for residents.
• Provide resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcomes.
• Educate residents and families about care plans.
• Communicate with physicians, NPs, families and other health professionals.
• Supervise CNAs and coordinate care.
