Job summary

Fox Run Center in St. Clairsville, OH is seeking a full-time LPN for night shift (6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.) to provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting at a 100-bed facility.

The position requires Ohio LPN licensure, at least 1 year of psychiatric health-care experience, and the ability to work under a Registered Nurse. Fox Run offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, full benefits, and opportunities for growth within UHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as an LPN in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice practical nursing by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
• Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures essential.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.
