Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is recruiting for a full-time LPN for night shift at Fox Run, The Center for Children and Adolescents, in St. Clairsville, OH. The 6 p.m.

to 6:30 a.m. shift focuses on behavioral health care with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Responsibilities include nursing care under the supervision of an RN, knowledge of psychiatric and medical procedures, and care tailored to patients’ ages. A OH LPN license and 1 year psychiatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Minimum of one year of LPN experience in a psychiatric facility preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice practical nursing in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under RN direction.
• Apply knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.
• Ensure care matches age-related criteria for the patients served.

Responsibilities and Duties

• LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.


• Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures essential.


• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.
