Job summary

River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking a FT LVN/LPN in Jacksonville, FL. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and supports psychiatric and substance abuse treatment teams.

The role uses a broad range of nursing skills, working with adults, youth, and families to promote recovery, safety and therapeutic engagement in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Current Florida LPN license.
• One year nursing experience preferred, psychiatric/addictions nursing encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to adults, children and adolescents under RN supervision.
• Utilizes technical nursing skills in patient care.
• Acts as active member of the treatment team and medication nurse.
• Maintains therapeutic relationships with patients.

We are pleased to announce the following available position: FT LVN/LPN

The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers nursing care to adults, children and adolescent patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for utilizing technical nursing skills in providing care to designated patients and incorporates a basic understanding of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. Serves as an active member of the treatment team; a medication nurse, and maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing School; maintains current Florida license; one year nursing experience, psychiatric and/or addictions nursing preferred.
