Job summary

Holiday Resort Health & Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Salina, Kansas. You will deliver patient-centered care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, following care plans and collaborating with physicians and families.

The role emphasizes accurate charting, patient and family education, and maintaining compliance with Kansas and federal requirements, including infection control, bloodborne pathogens, and safety protocols. Join our family today!

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Ability to work under supervision of Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients per care plans and coordinate with physicians, patients, families and staff.
• Educate patients and families about education and progress of care.
• Review and maintain all clinical records required for patient care and progress.
• Monitor compliance with Kansas and federal requirements including bloodborne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety.

As an LPN, you will work under the general supervision of the communities Director of Nursing to:

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient’s care.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient’s care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all Kansas and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
