Job summary

Waterfront is seeking an LPN to join our team in Wichita, KS. You will provide patient-centered care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, following individual care plans and collaborating with physicians, patients, and families.

You will maintain and review clinical records, monitor patient progress, and ensure compliance with Kansas and Federal requirements, including infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with valid state license.
• Experience delivering patient care in clinical settings.
• Ability to communicate with patients and families.
• Familiarity with care plans and charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care per care plans and coordinate with physicians.

As an LPN, you will work under the general supervision of the communities Director of Nursing to:

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient’s care.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient’s care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all Kansas and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
