Homestead of Olathe Memory Care is seeking an LPN to join our care team on site in Olathe, KS. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will provide care per care plans, document progress, and participate in education for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in accordance with care plans and may involve conferences with physicians, patients, families and staff.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding education and progress of care.
• Review and maintain clinical records required for patient care and progress.
• Monitor compliance with Kansas and Federal requirements including bloodborne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety.

As an LPN, you will work under the general supervision of the communities Director of Nursing to:

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient’s care.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient’s care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all Kansas and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
