Job summary

The Blossoms at Hot Springs in Arkansas is seeking a licensed nurse to provide coordinated care for residents. The role includes rounds to observe physical, emotional, and social needs, preparing and administering medications, and administering treatments.

You'll consult with physicians, communicate with the director of nursing and staff, and supervise without heavy supervision, requiring strong organizational, judgment, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with an Arkansas license.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a long-term care environment.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds to observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medication charts as required.
• Administer treatments to residents.
• Consult with physicians as needed.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties:

Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents

Job Requirements
