Job summary

The Blossoms at Star City Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our 7p-7a team. You will perform rounds, monitor residents’ physical, emotional and social needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the director of nursing to ensure high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have a current Arkansas LPN license (compact license acceptable), at least two years in long-term care, and strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license in Arkansas or a compact license.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a long-term care environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties:

Job Requirements

• Long term care experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed in Arkansas or hold a compace license
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
