Job summary

Amedisys, one of the nation's largest home health and hospice providers, invites you to join as a Licensed Practical Nurse. This full-time day position focuses on adult home health visits, offering flexibility, purpose and growth as you help patients heal where they feel most comfortable — at home.

Compensation includes hourly pay from $25.50 to $31.50, with benefits such as free telehealth medical plans, paid time off, a 401(k) match, and wellness rewards.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver''s license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN frequently to ensure patient needs are being met; notify them if patient condition changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review all medications and perform a medication reconciliation at each visit.
• Perform specialized procedures ordered by physician (e.g. foley catheter change).
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.

Attractive Pay

• Minimum Hourly: $25.50
