Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for homecare assignments in Brookings, SD. Earn $30/hour with weekly pay and flexible scheduling across day, evening, or night shifts.

PRN, part-time, and potential for full-time hours available; manage your own schedule through our scheduler. Responsibilities include wound care, med administration, PEG care if needed, infusions, labs, nursing assessments, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in SD or eligibility via reciprocity/multi-state privileges
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous LPN experience required (1000 hours)
• Current CPR certification required; on-site CPR available for qualified candidates
• Maintain all required certifications and professional standards
• Provide compassionate, professional nursing care in home settings

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and monitor wound healing
• Manage medications and administer treatments per orders and facility protocols
• Care for patients with PEG tubes and related feeding needs
• Administer infusions and monitor patient responses
• Perform lab draws and specimen collection as ordered
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor client conditions
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned within scope of practice

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Responsibilities

As an LPN working with Interim HealthCare, nurses may review and decline any assignment prior to accepting it if they are not comfortable with required tasks. Additional training is provided where needed. Some responsibilities could include:

• Providing wound care and monitoring wound healing
• Managing medications and administering treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols
• Providing care for patients with percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tubes and related feeding needs, as applicable
• Administering infusions and monitoring patients for responses or complications
• Performing lab draws and collecting specimens as ordered
• Conducting nursing assessments and monitoring clients conditions
• Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Performing other nursing duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (LPN) license in South Dakota or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity or multistate privileges, as applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous LPN experience required - 1000 hours worked
• Current CPR certification required; on-site CPR certification is available for qualified candidates
• Must maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and professional standards
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional nursing care in a variety of home settings
