Amedisys is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide hands-on home care in a 1:1 setting with geriatric patients. You will begin with paid training and transition to per-visit compensation, delivering high-quality care in patients’ homes across the area.

Eligible candidates have an LPN license for the state, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. Competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and benefits support are offered as part of a comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license for the assigned state(s).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to meet patient needs and report changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review medications and perform reconciliation at each visit.
• Perform procedures ordered by physician (e.g., Foley catheter change).
• Prepare equipment for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
