Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join its Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications and treatments, collect and document patient information, and coordinate care with the health team.

Per diem schedule offers flexibility, rapid pay options, and potential full-time hours. Active LPN license, 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and a recent PPD are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
