Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Local applicants only. We offer same-day/next-day pay and a range of benefits.

As an LPN, you will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administer medications, collect patient information, and coordinate with the care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD completed within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position without weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
