Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in the Hampton Roads area. This role offers per diem shifts with competitive pay and supportive local staffing coordinators.

We provide Same-Day or Next-Day Pay, a hiring bonus after 2 shifts, and weekly payroll. Benefits include flexible scheduling and access to full-time hours when available.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
