Job summary

Columbus Regional Health General Surgery is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our on-site team. The role includes delivering evidence-based nursing care, performing technical treatments, and supporting a six-surgeon practice in a weight loss and bariatric setting. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with days shifts.

Indiana LPN licensure and BLS are required within 30 days of hire. Experience in surgery settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse or Multi-State Licensed Practical Nurse (through the Nurse Licensure Compact).
• Within 30 days of hire you must have: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

What you need to know about this position:

Columbus Regional Health General Surgery (CRHGS) is a general surgery and weight loss institute practice with six board-certified surgeons and two nurse practitioners. CRHGS is a regional leader in surgery procedures including breast treatment, bariatric, hernia, laparoscopic and gastroenterology surgery. The office is located in Medical Office Building South, on Columbus Regional Health’s main campus.

The role of Licensed Practical Nurse contributes and participates in competent, evidence-based care, and performs technical treatments in providing care to an assigned group of patients.

Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

This position is hourly.

In a status of at least 16 hours per week, employees are benefit eligible.

What is required for this position:
