Under supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs as a licensed caregiver, responsible for assigned residents/patients during a shift. Care is provided through coordination, implementation, and evaluation of each resident’s/patient’s plan of care. The LPN/LVN adheres to standards of care, manages the environment to ensure safety, and supervises nursing assistants. All duties are performed following the Center’s policies and procedures, and in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
