Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs as a licensed caregiver, responsible for residents/patients during a shift. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the care plan, managing the environment for safety, supervising nursing assistants, and adhering to all policies and procedures as per the State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education and Experience

• Licensed in the State as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law
• Positive and effective communication with residents, families, staff, and community members
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; basic computer skills with the ability to learn company applications
