Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Chesapeake Detention Facility in Baltimore, MD. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of RNs and medical staff, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

The role requires an active Maryland LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year LPN experience in outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff supervision.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
• Collaborate with RN, medical and psychiatric staff to coordinate care.

Partnering with Talantage, LLC., we are currently seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Chesapeake Detention Facility - located in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift

Every other weekend & every other Friday 8-hour shifts
