Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Correctional Institution located in Jessup, Maryland. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff.

The position requires an active Maryland LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of LPN experience; corrections experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be CPR/BLS certified

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Behavioral Health team at Patuxent Correctional Institution located in Jessup, Maryland.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Behavioral Health) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
