Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the Florida Women's Reception Center in Ocala, FL. The role involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Hours are 7:00am–7:30pm with three shifts per week and weekend rotation. A high school diploma/GED, LPN license, CPR certification, and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Florida Women's Reception Center located in Ocala, Florida.

Pay Rate: $31-35/hr

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

7a-7:30pm; 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends
