Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Reception and Medical Center-West Unit in Lake Butler, Florida. This role provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff, aligning with security protocols.

The position offers evening/night shifts 6:45pm-7:15am, three shifts per week with rotating weekends, a competitive pay range of $31.50-$35.50 per hour, and a benefits package including

• Florida LPN license required or ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification required.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Reception and Medical Center- West Unit located in Lake Butler, Florida (Union County).

Pay Rate: $31.50-35.50

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

6:45pm-7:15am, 3 shifts per week; rotating weekends
