Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Florida Women's Reception Center team in Ocala, FL. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the scope of practice, under the supervision of RNs and medical staff, for incarcerated patients.

Shifts are 7a-7:30pm, three per week with rotating weekends. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits accompany this role at a busy correctional health facility in Ocala.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under supervision.
• Respond to physical and behavioral health needs as directed by RN and medical staff.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical/psychiatric staff to coordinate care.

Pay Rate: $31-35/hr

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
