Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Tomoka Correctional Institution in Daytona Beach, Florida. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients and work under the direction of RNs, medical, and psychiatric staff.

Shifts are 7pm–7:30am with three shifts per week and rotating weekends. A Florida LPN license or ability to obtain one is required, along with CPR certification; high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Florida LPN license or ability to obtain one required.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Work under supervision of RNs, medical and psychiatric staff to address health needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to respond to physical and mental health needs.

We are currently seeking a full‑time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Tomoka Correctional Institution located in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Pay Rate: $29-$32/hr

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

7pm-7:30am, three shifts per week; rotating weekends

Qualifications

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required


• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)


• Corrections experience not required


• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
