Job summary

NHS Management, LLC in Ocala, FL is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time coverage on the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts. You will administer medications, monitor residents, document care, assist with ADLs, collaborate with the rehab team, and educate residents and families, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance in a compassionate, team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
• Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident care activities.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support resident recovery goals.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing long-term care.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team on a part-time basis. This flexible position provides nursing coverage for both the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 11:00 PM-7:00 AM shifts based on facility needs.
