Job summary

NHS Management, LLC in Ocala, FL is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team on a part-time basis. This flexible role provides coverage for 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts, working closely with physicians, RNs, therapists, and care staff to ensure quality resident care.

The ideal candidate will deliver medications, monitor residents, document care, and support ADLs while maintaining regulatory compliance and a resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current and unrestricted licensure in the employing state.
• BLS/CPR certification current.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong clinical and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident care activities.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support resident recovery goals.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing long-term care.

Job Summary
