Job summary

Ocala Health And Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team on a part-time basis. This flex position provides nursing coverage for the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts based on facility needs.

The ideal candidate will deliver quality resident care, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to promote positive resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
• Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident care activities.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support resident recovery goals.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing long-term care.
