Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Santa Rosa Correctional Institution in Milton, Florida. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.

The role runs Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with weekends rotating. Centurion offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay in a correctional healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in mental health preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, drug screen and background check.

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
• Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution located in Milton, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Experience working in mental health preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift:

Days, 7AM-7:30PM; rotating weekends
