Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Santa Rosa Correctional Institution Annex in Milton, FL. The LPN (Mental Health) will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision, working with RNs and psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.

The role requires a Florida LPN license, CPR certification, and a high school diploma/GED, with mental health experience preferred and the ability to obtain the necessary

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution- Annex located in Milton, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Mental Health) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Experience working in mental health preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift

Nights, 7PM-7:30AM; rotating weekends
