Job summary

Williamsburg Post Acute & Rehabilitation VA in Williamsburg, VA is seeking licensed practical nurses to join a compassionate clinical team. We offer full-time, part-time and PRN options with day, evening, night and weekend shifts, competitive pay and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

You will administer medications, provide resident-centered care, collaborate with RNs and CNAs, and support residents’ physical and emotional well-being while maintaining confidentiality and following

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in VA.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
• LTC/SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs according to standards and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Assist with resident comfort and safety.
• Monitor vital signs, collect samples, and provide wound care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to policies and regulations.
• Coach staff as necessary.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in VA
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
