Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on care at Saint Marys Correctional Center in St. Marys, WV. You will work under RNs and clinicians to administer meds, monitor patients, and support daily activities in a secure, compassionate setting.

You will join a multidisciplinary team focused on safety, dignity, and healing, with opportunities for continuing education and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
• Active CPR certification.
• 1-2 years nursing experience; correctional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Support documentation and care planning.
• Promote hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for patients.
• Integrate as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

PAY RATE: $35/hour
SCHEDULE: Opportunities available for:

• 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM + every other weekend
• 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM + every other weekend

Position Summary

As an LPN at our facility, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Some responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Assisting with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
• Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
• Providing wound care and changing dressings
• Supporting documentation and care planning
• Promoting hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
• Serving as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team

What You’ll Need

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
