Wexford Health Sources, Inc. in Holden, WV, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide hands-on care at Southwestern Regional Jail, with shift schedule Wednesday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM and weekend 7:00 AM–11:30 PM.

You will administer meds, monitor vitals, assist with daily living activities, wound care, and contribute to care planning within a multidisciplinary team. Active LPN license and CPR are required; correctional nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high‑pressure settings.
• A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

As an LPN at our facility, you’ll play a hands‑on role in delivering care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Some responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Assisting with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
• Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
• Providing wound care and changing dressings
• Supporting documentation and care planning
• Promoting hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
• Serving as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
