Job summary

Rosedale Health and Rehabilitation Richmond, VA is seeking licensed practical nurses to join our compassionate clinical team. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities with competitive pay, meaningful shift work, and a supportive environment.

As an LPN, you will administer medications, monitor resident health, collaborate with RNs and CNAs, and help preserve dignity and comfort for our residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• VA LPN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• LTC or SNF experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care meeting resident needs per standards and orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Monitor samples, catheters, and provide wound care.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies and state/federal requirements.
• Track patient history, vitals, and physical condition.
• Coach staff as necessary.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in VA
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
