Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Florida State Prison in Raiford, FL. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs in a correctional setting.

The position requires a current LPN license (or ability to obtain), CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to physical and behavioral health needs.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Florida State Prison located in Raiford, Florida.

Pay Rate: $30-33.50/hr

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift Schedule

5am-5:30pm. three shifts per week; rotating weekends
