Job summary

Community Care Pediatrics Saratoga is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our pediatric team. The schedule is Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with a half-day once per week, and occasional rotating Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities include administering vaccines, documenting conversations, recording in patient records, maintaining patient flow, and preparing patients for visits. Other duties include obtaining specimens, processing lab orders, and assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Experience as LPN in a medical practice.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech preferred.
• Strong computer skills with EMR experience.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, infection control, safety, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient records accurately and timely.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patients for visits based on office requirements.
• Obtain specimens (urine, blood, etc.) as directed by the provider.
• Enter orders accurately into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures (PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medications, immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients as instructed.

Community Care Pediatrics Saratoga is looking for an LPN to join their team! This is a full-time position; 36-40 hours per week. The hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a half day once per week. Occasional rotating Saturday morning required.

• This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!**

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
