Job summary

Community Care Physicians is hiring a Full Time LPN for their Community Care Family Medicine office in Albany, NY. This 40-hour-per-week role involves vaccines administration, patient documentation, and maintaining smooth patient flow under provider direction.

Ideal candidates hold a NYS LPN license and have prior LPN experience in a medical setting or related assistant role, with strong computer/EMR skills and knowledge of infection control.

Qualifications

  • Valid NYS LPN license.
  • Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
  • Strong computer skills with EMR experience.
  • Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality.

  • Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
  • Maintain timely patient flow.
  • Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
  • Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
  • Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
  • Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
  • Process patient prescriptions.
  • Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
