Job summary

Elba Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and provide skilled nursing care in a compassionate setting. This PRN position offers flexible shifts (7a–7:30p or 7p–7:30a) and the chance to contribute to patient-focused care within our warmth-driven environment.

Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, vital sign monitoring, and collaboration with the care team to implement individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Alabama.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patient-centered care.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs, report changes or concerns to nursing staff, and collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, to promote patients' independence and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and quality care standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with latest clinical practices and guidelines.
