Oakwood Care Center in Middle River, MD is seeking dedicated LPNs to join our clinical team. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with RNs and CNAs to support residents’ overall well-being.

We offer full-time and part-time Day, Evening, and Night shifts, with competitive pay and shift differentials. Benefits, sign-on bonuses up to $5,000, and daily pay access are available to eligible staff.

Formación

• LPN license required and currently active (Virginia).
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Prior LTC/SNF experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Assist with resident comfort and dignity.
• Monitor samples, catheters, and perform wound care as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all policies/regulations.
• Track and review vital signs and medical history; document changes.
• Coach and support staff as needed.

Rate of pay: $31.50 to $36.95 (plus Shift Diffs as applicable)

What You’ll Do:

Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines

• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
