Job summary

Deep Creek Health & Rehabilitation in Chesapeake, VA, is looking for compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated clinical team. We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $30 to $36.95, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions. $10,000 Sign on Bonus for FT half for PT or defer for $2.25 more on your base for FT

What You’ll Do

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in VA.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment.

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
